"Castaway Nate" is an ode to the popular screensaver, "Johnny Castaway", of Windows 3.1 days.

I thought I'd give it a try Vineyard Clear Lake style - using our lovable, alt-country, guitar-strumming, Jesus-following pastor Nate!! About the best guy you're ever gonna meet.

Castaway Nate like Johnny Castaway, runs off random decisions so no telling what you'll see.

Johnny Castaway had hundreds of scenes. Some of them would hardly ever play - you'd come back to your desk and your cube mate would be like, "You missed it! Johnny just went on a party on a yacht!" Man we wasted a lot of time looking at that stupid screen saver.

Castaway Nate doesn't have nearly so many scenes.
So far it's:

- setup for day and night time (he has a bed time now)
- handles a few holidays
- And has about 8 scenes that can vary in themselves somewhat

It's a work in progress... I'll add to it when I get the chance.
Animation is a lot of fun to do, but it's time consuming.
It's a cruel hobby.
